April 1th - Detector Battery Give-away Event

On Saturday, April 1th, There will be a battery give-away event, at the Morton-Rutledge fire station. Residents with smoke alarms, requiring nine-volt batteries can trade their old batteries for a fresh alarm battery. To receive a new battery, residents must bring an old battery, to exchanage. Only one battery per houshold.

April 18th - Deadling for submitting 2022 tax return

The Morton post office will be open until midnight, to receive your 2022 federal and state tax returns. All return, which are received by midnight, will be post marked for the 18th. Complimentary coffee will be available for borough residents.

Morton Borough Council Meetings

April 12th - Public Council Meeting

7pm at the borough hall, 500 Highland Avenue. Residents are welcomed to attend.

April 26th - Council Agenda Meeting

Although not a public meeting, the Agenda Meeting can be followed via Zoom
